Okay, I can't do ten albums from each decade, but I CAN do a top 10 overall (the sixties don't hold much interest for me, except for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and The Doors, I was more a child of the '70's):

1. Led Zeppelin - IV (Zoso) (IMO, the greatest rock 'n roll album EVER)
2. Peter Frampton - Frampton Comes Alive!
3. Journey - Infinity
4. Journey - Evolution
5. Van Halen - Van Halen
6. Aerosmith - Toys In The Attic
7. Queen - The Game

3 Pantera -The Great southern Trendkill
4 Pantera -Far beyond Driven

Truly couldn't live without them

Sorry for warming up a dead thread, but this a very good question :D

So here's my ten, in no particular order

36Crazyfists - A Snow Capped Romance
Sleater-Kinney - All Hands On The Bad One
Denali - Denali
65 Days Of Static - The Destruction Of Small Ideas
Will Haven - WHVN
Sonic Youth - Sister
lostprophets - thefakesoundofprogress (the original release, rather than the remixed re-release)
Glassjaw - Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence
Head Automatica - Decadence
Miocene - Refining The Theory

Very hard choice, but if i could only have ten, it would be those ten 8)

Who – Who's next
Deep Purple - Fireball
Rolling Stones – Rolled Gold
Uriah Heep – Salisbury
Ten Years After – A Space In Time
Pink Floyd -Dark Side of the Moon
Leonard Cohen – Greatest hits
The Doors - The Doors
Checkflight Gustav
Beatles- Abbey Road

Agree BT, very hard choice.

Not enough in the 60s for me to have 10. But here is today's "Stranded on an Island 10" in no sequence that will probably be different if you ask me tomorrow

Blue Oyster Cult- ET Live
Savatage- Ghost in the Ruins
Black Sabbath- Live Evil
Megadeth- That One Night
Motörhead- Stage Fright (audio from a DVD put on a CD counts)
Queensryche- Operation Mindcrime I
Ozzy- Speak at the Devil
Iron Maiden- Powerslave
AC/DC- Back in Black
Judas Priest- Screaming for Vengance

Per Spinal Tap, all the above require a stereo amp that goes to "11"

I'm too young for this one!

Rammstein: Sehnsucht
Rammstein: Mutter
Rammstein: Reise, Reise
I really like their other two, but not as much as those 3.
Shinedown: Leave a Whisper
Shinedown: Us and Them
Shinedown: The Sound of Madness
Breaking Benjamin: Phobia
People In Planes: Beyond the Horizon
Halestorm: Halestorm
Thornley: Come Again

Those are the entire albums, but there are of course a lot of other songs and artists that I like, but those are the full albums I can't live without.
