Again a factory fresh build as I don't think this was one of the ex US Navy machines hastily provided to the RAF.

Thought I'd trade my crab fat (RAF) 'cheese cutter' for a matelot (USN) 'dixie cup' and bring up my attempt at duplicating the USS Indianapolis (CA-35). Portland Class Heavy Cruiser.

It was a bit of a complex build with several large sheets of PE, brass fitments including gun barrels both large and small. Needles to say, lots of things went wrong and if you have the A1 eyeball, you'll spot the mistakes over the next few posts.
