Many thanks for calling in gents. Still in Spain but after the next couple of pics, were on the move..............................
Couple of last shots from Girona and the spectacular riverside residence.
This little cork sculpture caught my eye. A lot of wine bottles got corked from this lot.
This is Quermançó Castle in Vilajuïga, we did not stop, just drove past. We did hear tell that one could pick up an old castle in Spain for about 300,00 euro, but then you had to refurbish it within a certain time.
This is the home of Salvador Daliin a littler fishing village of Portlligat, Catalonia. We spent a bit of time here wandering this residence. It was very eye opening.
Thanks for checking in folks. Looks like its been a while since visiting this thread myself, very remiss of me to neglect it. So..................................................
Salvador Dali and where he lives, it was a most extraordinary place. The little fishing village where he lived.
Waiting to go in as its on a timed entry to help keep the numbers down inside.
Which came first, the tree or the boat. I was intrigued.
Its been a long time since I uncorked a bottle, we have screw top wine bottles from most of our wineries now. But from what I remember they did have an indelible number stamped on them which i assume would have been a batch number either for the wine or the cork.
