-An interesting morning. According to the earthquake labs Nevada has had 57 earthquakes (so far) since shortly after 4AM Pacific time. The biggest was a 6.5 and the shaking woke us up: the bed was rocking and there was a rumbling sound.
-Since then the aftershocks have been of lesser intensity with two at about 5.1 and six at about 4.8, the remainder 2s and 3s.
-Most are referenced from Tonopah but some are referenced from Gabbs and Hawthorne.
-And the day is still young!!
-Nevada is the third most geologically active state in the union after Alaska and California.
