I'm hoping to get some quotes this week for some house projects. Need to get two windows installed on the lower floor. Need a wood burning stove installed. Need my office/military collection war room framed, dry-walled, electrical work, and doors installed (I'll install the flooring and paint the walls).

Not looking forward to the price. If I don't like the quote, I'll do the framing and drywall myself.

Amen to that in probably every country. We have government cover plus private cover to cover the gaps that the government allows them to cover and yet we still pay far too often.

Some by choice (we go to a doctor that charges a little over double the "schedule" fee because he is good and a 10:00 appointment means you are talking to him by 10:01, unless there is an emergency (once in five years). At bulk bill practices a 10:00 appointment can mean you see the doctor at midday or later.

Yesterdays mail was $381.20 for pathology that is not covered by the government or private insurance

At the VA I pay a reasonable co-pay. Of course the real payment for the VA services are paid up front. ;)

Yes, we have private coverage and even still my Prossie op cost me $9,000.00.
All private coverage did was to allow me to hire a specialist on my own, and Pay Him!!!
Then the first follow up was going to cost $150.00 for five minutes of him informing me
I am now a unic!

Well, I'm off to the doctor for the 2nd time this week to have an ultrasound done on a lump in a location where there should not be a lump.

If you are taking statins one of the many side effects is your vitamin D is reduced by the medication.

I have never taken statin and always had high vitamin D but I did have the same problem.

You need the machine that goes "PING!"
I really doubt Sonar will help any;)

Or I could really cut out the middle man and just call the undertaker, going to end up there at the very end anyway.
Just sucks not knowing what the heck is going on and how much further in debt I will be when all is said and done with.
