That vertigo happened to me a few years back. It was so bad I couldn't stand up let alone walk. Spent a night in the hospital in case it was a stroke before they said it was vertigo. They had me do that head down thing to dislodge the crystals in the inner ear and it worked somewhat but I still had to do a couple of weeks of physical therapy to be able to walk again without falling over. Also start physical therapy tomorrow for the ear/dizziness side of things. Never hear of PT for an ear problem, but is seems there are crystals in your ears canals that can work their way into places they shouldn't be and cause Vertigo when you make certain movements. PT manipulates your head around in different positions and puts them back in their place. It's called the Epley maneuver. I've tried it once on my own and it did seem to help some.
