The new guy at work found out why we keep telling him that being able to count to ten at the end of shift is a good day.
Nine and a half does not round up.
My buddies father did that once while grinding venison for making sausages. Suffice to say we threw that batch out. Don't need to be picking fingers out from in between my teeth.

My wife is scheduled to close the sale of her parents' property in two weeks. We are scrambling to clear the last of the tractors and farm equipment out of the place. Suddenly, SIL is demanding that we give her all kinds of stuff that she had previously said she didn't want. But not to my wife. No. She calls my kids and demands that they get the stuff for her.
Then starts threatening legal action when my wife told her off.

Yikes! She must have found out the items were worth a little cash? Good luck.

Leave the stuff where it is and tell her to come get it. She is hoping you will do all the transport & storage.
Family is an annoyance one cannot control. For instance, twenty years ago,2005, just after hurricane Katrina, my sister asked, "You have such a big garage, could I bring some stuff to store in your garage for six months? Just six months?" I moved my old cars outside until the 87 Chev Caprice began to show it's age. All old cars now sold. One year ago she called and in her best actress voice, "It's so hot. I think I'm going to pass out. Could I just come and stay at your house for two or three days? Just two or three days, it's so hot?" She's still here after a year. It worked once, why not again. Twenty years ago she had three houses which she let go to ruin until just this spring the officials go after her, so one had to be torn down and sold. She is a horder and has the houses FILLED with trash, junk & "collectibles". Repairs are never made to any thing and that's why she has no A/C, heat, working appliances and such. She refuses to allow me to repair or replace things free but expects to live with me. She has kidney failure and diabetes and needs dialasys every other day. She would be out to an assisted living site except my wife continues to give in to her saying, "She has no one else to look after her." She shuffles around with a cane looking like death warmed over and I can't tell which is real and which is drama.
Enough! My rant is done.

Much of the City of Bemidji, MN. was damaged by a massive storm this weekend. Thousand of trees down, buildings damaged, loss of power still 2 days later. Have several friends near the town, luckily the did not have major damage, just a few trees down and loss of power.
Still waiting to hear about the land I hunt on and whether it sustained any damage.

Hope no one got hurt in that. How'd the airport do?
Not sure about the airport, but I just saw on Aircorps' Aviation's facebook page that one of their maintenance buildings had the roof torn off. This is off-site from the airport and appears none of the repair/rebuild projects they were working on were damaged and no one was hurt. Appears through workers and volunteers that a new roof is already in place.

Paying $800 for liability for six months on my old Honda Pilot. Blew my stack when I saw the new upcoming bill for July 27. No tickets, no wrecks, and I am an old man. Like what?
