Tried to pay my mortgage today, but there is a little charge for 48 cents, "lender paid expenses".
No explanation. I'm not paying anything until they can explain why they need an extra 48 cents.
I know why it's there. I tracked it down to when I cancelled my PMI. They had originally misapplied my payment for an appraisal, and in their flurry of corrections, they labelled my monthly payment round up of 48 cents as "lender paid expense". So as far as I can tell, not only did they steal 48 cents from me, now they want to do it again.

Another bout with Vertigo yesterday, now known as pukefest. Not good. A couple doses of Dramamine and performed what's call the modified Epley maneuver (to put those darn floating ear crystals back where they belong) and got a bit better. Can still feel it this morning, but much better, last bout lasted several days.

Buck: Keep a running record of what sets it off and the ambient conditions at that time. My littlest sister had the same problem and they eventually found that she had a very mild case of Meniere's. She was able to alleviate most bouts with a diet change. That's what nearly permanently grounded Alan Shepard.....

I have chronic Sinusitis, so that appears to be the main trigger. This sometimes causes Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV), in which the little crystals in your ear canal start floating into places they aren't supposed to be, thus causing the Dizziness and nausea.
I found the Epley maneuver via a google search a couple years ago after the first attack. Sometimes it takes several attempts to get all them little buggers (crystals) back where they belong though.
In the meantime, I on anti-biotics for the sinus infection and Meclizine (Dramamine) for the vertigo, now I just can't stay awake.

Abjection during the night of may 23 and 24 :

Some stupid anonymous so-called pacifists have repainted with pink paint and tagged '' peace '' and '' love '' the Sherman M4A2 '' Valois '' from the 12e Régiment de Chasseurs d'Afrique, 2e Division Blindée, exposed at the at the crossroad La Croix-Médavy (Orne).

The tank had been disabled on august 13, 1944 during the liberation of Alençon against the 9th Panzer Division by the division, and two crew members had been killed insided the tank (Maréchal des Logis Louis de Torcy and Chasseur Fernand Garciès) something the authors would probably have learnt if they had been able to read the commemoratiive plate, that they also degraded.

It will be extremely difficult to restore the tank in its original condition before the anniversary of the liberation, because a sandblast could degrade the tank.

100 % sure feminists for terrorists are responcible for such behavior! I sometimes wish executing / killing people was not called a crime!!!

In the words of George Orwell in 1940, "To be pacifist is to be objectively pro-Nazi." So by painting the tank pink they were wishing that the 6 Jun 1944 invasion never occurred and France suffered under the Nazi yoke until the whole country was destroyed by USAF nuclear bombs circa 1950.

A few weeks back I ordered some books from Albris on ebay. One book was one recommended on this website, for which I am appreciative.

Then the first book came, one I had added to the order for the WW2aircrfat book, and I sat down to read it. Soon I realized I had already read it, a year ago when I was trying to recover from COVID 19 and the only relief I could find from the pain was to read while soaking in hot water in the bathtub.

Then the second book came. But it did not. The package had been mailed from an ebay seller, "booksfromca" but inside was an novel I had no interest in reading with a packing slip for a gentleman in NJ. I complained to both Albris and booksfromca. After a few days Albris replied that they were sorry for the error, would provide a refund and that I should just throw that wrong book away.

So I just packaged up that wrong book and will mail it NJ, with a note explaining what had occurred and asking that if he had received the book that I had ordered would he mail it to me?

I would think that such sellers would have a better system for responding to such mistakes than just relying on the customers for corrections.

By the way, pink was the piping color of the Panzerwaffe and Panzerjâger uniforms...
