My old van can no longer travel at or near the speed of light, so driving faster than my lights is no longer possible. I first noticed this as the resistance in the wiring and connections slowed the electricity, thereby slowing the speed of light.

Update. Pipes are ok. Water encroaching behind tile in shower. Looks like I have a project.

I got one of them, too. As a interim step, turn off the hot water for the shower and no one will spend enough time in there for leaks to matter.

It's a riser off the tub spout.

That's good. A friend of mine came up with an idea she uses. When you have those sliding shower doors she puts a rail up inside the doors and hangs a shower curtain inside the shower stall. That keeps the doors and tracks clean and dry and also reduces the amount of water that gets out of the stall as well. I was just taking a shower and started thinking how in my last house in CA I replaced the whole shower stall and put pieces of plastic wall over the old tile.

Whole bunch of things beginning with 7th grade in the am and added on to by 6th grade (group 2) in the afternoon. Thankful it is a three day weekend. 8th grade and the first 6th grade (group 1) were fine.

Years ago I had a Salvadorian staff member who was really top notch but his English was broken at best. I arranged for him to do ESL classes every Tuesday and paid both him and the "educator".

On the third week it dawned on me at smoko that he was at work so I asked him why he was not at the school. He said teacher Vietnamese speak badder English than me..
