WX was perfect so I finally got to finish rebuilding the section of fence I was working on before it got cold and wet. But that was a section that needed to be rebuilt 10 plus years ago. Next I'll rebuild a section that came through the hurricane looking gap-toothed and frazzled. THEN there is the one next to it that is a real challenge, an 8 ft section I built many years ago, designed so you could pull out some bolts and remove it intact, for wider access; the hurricane left it broken. I think I've figured out how to build a section with a different design, using some AL tubing that came from overhead light fixtures; I hope it will be lighter to move if required.

Yesterday afternoon I put the Ercoupe back together and then helped a friend trace wires on a Cessna 172 he is rebuilding.

went to store to get the rest of what I need to make burritos.
Best way I have found to "make burritos."

1. Buy a bag of El Monte frozen burritos or cimmichongas.
2. Coat each burrito with olive oil.
3. Bake at 400F for about 30 min. I use a little convection oven.

The results are such I would not even give a moment's thought to eating a microwaved burrito.

I used my spices for the meat. I had my daughter cook the Mexican rice. I cut up the cilantro, onions, and tomato bits. Purchased shredded cheese (I didn't get the Mexican kind or brand, which are very different), I put everything in a tortilla and folded it. Baked for 10 minutes and they were fire. Had rice left over and they wanted that on the side. Made about 13 and they ate them all except for three.

Pulled the batteries from the 7.3 Super Duty and taking them down for a good load check. Got these in December of 2023 and they act like they're dying already. We shall see. Hoping I's not dropping another 500$ on a replacement pair for this truck. Will be the 4th set in 7 years if so.

You know that if you put up red and white lights for Christmas, they'll not only look festive, but will be appropiate for Valentine's Day - which also means you can leave them up until the weather gets nicer... :D
Add a string of blue lights that are on their own switch and the lights can stay up til after the 4th of July...

Today I'm reading the news and weeping. I've come to the conclusion that social media, far from being a source of shared information has become instead the primary source of misinformation and social division. Today I've decided its time to leave Facebook, Insta and all the other socials that both track and feed biased information based on engagement.

Has anyone else successfully bailed from social media, and how did it go for you?
