Running the staff canteen of a local business, working mon to friday 07.00 to 15.00, cooking for approx 60 people.

The Schtümgeschutz was actually one of Germany's greatest AFVs and actually started out as mobile artillery, nothing more. The more I learned about them, the more I was amazed at their transformation on the battlefield and what they accomplished.

And congrats on the new job - so no more dealing with requests for non-GMO and glutin-free water, eh?

I was working the grill at the local Germanic American Institute making brats at their Oktoberfest, when approached by a woman, who slipped a veggie patty out of her jacket and asked if I could make room on the grill for it.

Putting stuff away! I helped out a local USMC non profit on Saturday. They are called Task Force Garrison and they did a shooting competition for marines in the area. They also arranged for a flyover, and general range beat up, by a Planes of Fame F4U. Here are some of the pictures of that!

Well, yesterday....
A night out with some colleagues (we had few free drinks on the company, I stuck to my Guinness though) and I remembered why I don't get along with modern "pubs" and clubs, d*mn the music (well) was loud!

We used to go "clubbing" where the music and crowd was loud (for a reason), but a pub (or bar) shouldn't have blaring music, to be honest.
