Since I am retired, my yearly income reduced since july 2025 but the collected tax continued with the old estimation. A few weeks ago my daughter decided to end her employment at her current employer. After being turned down twice for a raise, and discovering that new hires were making as much as she was as a shift lead with over a year experience she decided to seek employment elsewhere. A neighbor suggested applying where she worked. Her first application was rejected because the built in AI editor kept changing her responses. Our neighbor said try again but disable the AI.

Now she has offers from two different locations.

My daughter accepted the offer from the second location. It's a bit longer commute, but a better neighborhood, and better schedule. The offer is contingent on her passing a background check and drug test, so she's been cramming all weekend.

Canada always has great commemorative coins and names. Our $1 coin is called a Loonie as there is a loon on the reverse side. The $2 coin is called a Twoonie because its two Loonies and now, with King Charles in charge we have a new $20 dollar bill which is vertical. I give you, the "Chuck Buck"

Better than Aus where the dollar coin is far BIGGER than the $2 coin. When the latter came out some people started calling it the two bob (shilling) coin because it bought about the same as the 2 bob coin did way back when it was replaced by the 20c.
