When I was in Air Force basic flight training we all had radio call signs based on our instructor's call signs. My instructor was Tiger 10, so I became Tiger 11. We stayed in touch for many years & I use the call sign in his honor. "Blue Skies, Red!"

I did a science project back in middle school on the Jadera and I got a 15 on it, so my friends started calling me that and here I am.

Finally at 48 I had the chance to learn to fly.
A PSA pilot took pitty on me I only had to rent a plane.
It was a 150-D, affectionately referred to as 2-1-Ugly.
Dark green stripes on white. So N4521U I am.

At model club meetings and back before retirement at work, I was known for trivia tales and explanations. When club members and coworkers had enough, they would say, "Ain't dat spechul". Hence the Special Ed handle.

I have no air to airs, we flew this one about the country and to Alaska a couple of times on the inside passage route.
In front of the FBO in Sheboygan. My wife loves that word LOL.

Cheapest fuel on the last trip was Sheridan WY, first stop on a 37 state run over 23 days.

That's also a beauty. I had a photographer friend who was also a pilot - hence the air-to-air shot. We lived in Northern Idaho for years and that is Lake Pend Oreille below. Always thought the early straight tail birds were the best looking.
