When I was in Air Force basic flight training we all had radio call signs based on our instructor's call signs. My instructor was Tiger 10, so I became Tiger 11. We stayed in touch for many years & I use the call sign in his honor. "Blue Skies, Red!"
 
It was what they called all the early 310 pilots

I was a Sky King for real. The wife and I flew all over the US in this 310.

I have no air to airs, we flew this one about the country and to Alaska a couple of times on the inside passage route.
In front of the FBO in Sheboygan. My wife loves that word LOL.

Cheapest fuel on the last trip was Sheridan WY, first stop on a 37 state run over 23 days.

That's also a beauty. I had a photographer friend who was also a pilot - hence the air-to-air shot. We lived in Northern Idaho for years and that is Lake Pend Oreille below. Always thought the early straight tail birds were the best looking.
