How do you insert member links in your post?

I like when members link other members in their posts, but I can't seem to figure this out;

It doesn't seem to be covered in any of the help topics...

my post is first because i was editing it after testing i was doing it correctly !

Dash119 . Type the @ character and then start typing the member's name, as you do so, a dropdown will appear and you can click on it to confirm the member.
