My name is Lance Charnes. I'm an author of (until now) contemporary crime/caper and action/adventure novels.
The reason I'm here is that I've started a historical espionage/mystery series set in the 1930s-40s. The heroine is a down-on-her-luck aviatrix who's recruited by the British Secret Intelligence Service to spy in European hotspots during the interwar and WWII years. Since she's a flyer, she'll be doing a fair amount of flying. I'll need some details that don't normally come up in the usual places.
I'll be posting in the 1918-1939 forum until the series gets to WWII (if it ever does). Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
