Other episodes should be on the same YT channel. I watched all of them there just a couple of weeks ago.Watched that first episode of "Conflict", in the above post - very good, and holds the attention. Can't find subsequent episodes, supposedly on Prime, Netflix and Apple, but not showing in the UK.
I forgot to mention the parts that fit this thread:Fighter Squadron - 1948
This is the one where Hollywood found there was much color film of P-47s in combat, but when they went to the Airforce for ground shots, found the only unit still using P-47s was the Puerto Rico ANG. A good movie for good color shots in the air and on ground if one can disregard the Hollywood silliness, including "Jimmy Olson - from Superman" as a new butterbar replacement.
Is this the movie featuring two NCOs and their madcap antics involving black cats?I forgot to mention the parts that fit this thread:
This is the movie that uses the black painted P-51Ds with German crosses. It's a shame none of these survived, as they would have been perfect for Reno, being the fastest P-51Ds ever.
Also, one cockpit shot, P-47D or P-51D, has a Spitfire control column. A remarkable mod. It must be true, I saw it in a color movie, sooo... I can use some of those unused sprue attachments after all.
Yeah I understandably so. They were trying to make a big production movie while not offending anybody so. Hollywood was going through some kind of big turmoil back then about it. It should have been enough they had the people, they had the material, and they could have made a really nice show, though sadly they had too many people saying no, this is what you've got to do, this is what you can't do. This it just turned into a pile of crap.I watched The Big Red One for the first time tonight. Very underwhelmed.
