I understand the need for a clickbait title but to dub La Reconquista as a one and only war seems far fetched. It was a long process with multiple sides (not even all the same, different kingdoms and fiefs a long the time) fighting each others: moors against christians, some moors fighting each others, christians fighting christians, moors with christians fighting others moors or christians and the like.
