I saw it a couple of weeks ago with my son. He insisted I didn't read reviews, watch the trailer, I went totally cold & loved it. I'll likely go watch it again, to try & catch some of the little things I missed, & am keen to read the book. I did read the Wikipedia page on the book & that helped me understand some bits I hadn't got (hearing challenged). I like Gosling as a actor & was impressed at the nuanced way the director built the relationship between Grace & Rocky.
