Am stuck on the couch (just got in from the gym...) and flipped the TV on .....lo and behold, Dune (2021) is on. I shall now remain practically motionless for a further 2 1/2 hours

There's a small YT channel that popped up in the "recommended" thumbnails. It's Santee1821. He does videos on the Civil War era U.S. Navy. He discusses where surviving cannon that "served" onboard those ships and fortifications are today. I think he deserves a view. No AI.
Here's a sample.

Dodge was building 3/4 ton 4x4 trucks for the Army back in the 1930's.
Part of the reason for the idea of the Jeep to begin with was because a smaller, more economical vehicle was needed for general running around.

Last movie(s) I saw were earlier today. Caught the last half hour or so of Jaws and then Jurassic World came on. TNT, baby.

What did you think of Disclosure Day?
IMHO interesting but kind of "too soft", don't know how to call it. At the end I didn't really want to know what's going on. Maybe I'm too old....
Close Encounters of the Third Kind was a chedeuvre! (...and I was in my early 20s...)
The other half & I went & saw "Heart of the Beast" the other day. Brad Pitt & a gorgeous Shepherd named Odin in the movie. Set in Alaska, filmed in new Zealand. Plot holes you could drive a bus through but nevertheless, very enjoyable & real lump in the throat stuff at the end. My wife's family had Shepherds when she was younger so she loved it. I do wonder what Alaskans made of it.
