Discarded pizza boxes are an excellent source of cheese.More or less finished doing my Federal Taxes today. I was glad to get that done, although there are still a few things I want to check. This is the first time I used the H&R Block software.
BUT
I am going to have to send the Feds around another TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS.
Trying to decide if a diet of Pork n'Beans would be preferable or mac and cheese in a box would be better.....
You might want to try again with a different software package especially considering the size of your payment. Kids grew up?

The last new car we bought was 1999. Dodge Grand Caravan. Couldn't fit three car seats in the Saturn. The tax break never made up for the extra medical bills, food, school supplies, new clothes, etc.... but she didn't mind the new computer or down payment on a new car.

"Previously owned" is the current moniker. The only new car I've ever had belonged to the company. Mine were always used cars.
What makes me sad is losing someone close to me to dementia. The person is still there but also not.
A while back I was telling a guy at a amateur radio hamfest the baffling problem I had with fixing a Hewlett Packard signal generator. Funny thing was that if you took the power supply loose from the case it worked, but not when it was installed. Then I found that someone had put a screw in the wrong place in the power supply, causing the output to be shorted when it was in the case. The guy responded to me, "Working on that kind of thing will keep you from developing dementia."The big lesson I've taken away from these experiences is that I need to do all I can to keep both my body AND my mind active.
