hey guys, I applied polished aluminum and it looks a little dull, to me. what do you think?

Nice work Karl. About time I got down to doing that pair you sent me decals for - started on the diorama base first, so got to get the kites done!

rochie, what technique do you use for the mottling? I would like to have a go at some German machines, but I'm always put off by the camo :oops:

i dip a cooton bud in the paint then dab it on some kitchen towel until its almost dry then slowly build up layers of dabs on the model, if that makes sense ????:D

Makes perfect sense, I had thought of something similar myself. I might go German for my next purchase and see how it turns out.
