Dragged this out of the unfinished box to get her done. This is the Sword Kawasaki Ki-102. It's one of those kits for 'experienced modelers' and you all know what that means. No joining pins, sanding and some Vallejo putty. I started this in 2019, so if I had been as ambitious back then as I am now, I would have made sure the propellors could spin. It build into a a fair large aircraft, with options being the prototype or one of the few assigned to a Sentai since many were not built before the war's end. Decals from them weren't the best either. They had a sheen and I will be replacing the hinomarus because I don't like the results.

This beast is the old LS/Ari version of the Yokosuka K5Y2. it's not as good as the Valom (so I have read), but with school PDs being only 13 days away, I am not starting any new kits. This year is going to be hard as hell with being at a different school, doing Masters coursework and the situation at home. It's going to curtail something I love doing to relax, building. The tail fin is shorter than it should be on the kit. The fuselage also looks to be maybe 1 inch shorter. I figured, whatever, slap some a dress on a pig and call it a hot babe. This thing is a Yokosuka K5Y2 type 93 Kashima Kaigun Ku 1944. No rigging!
