This the ancient Arii/LS kit that had been surpassed by the Valom and AZ releases. The aircraft is a Yokosuka K5Y1 Takao Ku, Taiwan Summer 1944. Rising Decals were easy to apply.

Another B5N2 from Hasegawa. I really like the way the aircraft looks. Hard to tell right? I used the R.O.P. decals for this. Lord I really don't like them. This is a Nakajima B5N2 of the Yokosuka Ku 1941.

Here is the Hasegawa ancient molds of the Aichi E13A1. After some research, I discovered that. the version aboard IJNS Tone at Midway was the earlier A, which did not have the inner struts this kit is released with. After looking at the directions again, I noticed there are two steps for these inner struts one with and one without. it was an easy fix to remove them to make this the one aboard IJNS Tone that battle deciding day. This is scout no.4 that was late in leaving and misidentified the carrier force that delayed Nagumos decision making process.

Here is one fighter I don't build enough of, the Kawasaki Ki-61-I. This is the very old Hasegawa mold. The Avon decals were hard to work with and the hinomarus are a light red, which I didn't like. I replaced the side ones with Aeromaster decals and will eventually replace the wing ones when building commences again next year. This is a Kawasaki Ki-61-I Tei 55th Sentai Yonton, Okinawa April 1945.

This is one I don't build ever, a Yokosuka D4Y2. This is the Fujimi version which stands out because of the way they mold the engine part and fuselage giving you the option to make the D4Y1. This is a Yokosuka D4Y2 4th 'Mitate-tai' of 601st Ku August 1945, a Special Attacker unit.

This is the very fine Hasegawa Ki-27 (copied from the Mania molds of course). This is a Nakajima Ki-27 14 Kyoiku Hikotai , Dai 14 Kyoiku Rentai November 1940. Decals are by Arawasi, difficult to work with.

Almost the last of the 2019 and 2020 builds needing decals. I had to do some minor adjustments and replace items, but easy to do at 1/72 scale. This is an Airfix Mitsubishi Ki-46-II 82 Sentai 1942. I have read it isn't the best one available due to it's inaccuracies. View attachment 794188

One of my favorite Japanese airplanes.

The Academy B25 PBJ the wings are still not glued I have a coat of Tamy semi-clear varnish on the plane on the shelf Florry's-H2O(?),AK's=white thinner then your Tamy panel wash.I just got the Florrys in the mail never used seemed the easiest maybe of all to remove?Small selection. The AK got a little bit more for this enviro even though it's met for MTO any suggestions weathering is a weak point for me.
