IP glued to the right fuselage

Wing togetherness beginning, bondage is just to keep it in place. I did a test fit of the squared-off wing tip to this side and it definitely wasn't made for this kit; about 1mm too thin on the top all the way around. Bottom looks OK......there will be mud

Tamiya 1/48 F-84G Alclad 101 for the main color access panels amazing is Dull Silver,I had all the panels on the L/side under the canopy taped sprayed the wrong color hardly showed but could not tell for sure till you lift the masking ...their went 45/60 minutes of masking

It's come out looking a nice smoky silver on my monitor which looks great.

Thanks Don. Still looks nice Kevin. More bondage, just to hold things in place. Airfix wants to add the lamp (arrows) before everything gets closed up. I may use some kinda PVA instead of masking.....I dunno yet

I use these for attaching and making clear windows at a fraction of the cost. I got the Elmer's for $3.00

So I go down to add some more glue and before I did I searched to model to try and figure out why the fit is crappy at the front. Inside are two ridges that I thought had something to do with the join but couldn't find anything to match on the wing

A few minutes of sanding on the left side and the fit has improved. More to do yet and then the right. There will be less mud

I have an angle grinder, just saying and maybe a belt sander.

rochie Every review I've read doesn't mention any issues other than soft detail in the cockpit. Wait until I show you the wing tip fit
