Decided to slap the Schrick resin A5M4s I had resting together. I also fell into the possession of another A5M4 from Classic Airframes. Need cockpit additions and decals.

Not so much a kit but a print and paint project. This is not something I would have ever thought to buy but it was available
free as a file to 3D print. The scale 1/200th and it still stands around 9" tall.

Hopefully it has come out near enough as the colours had to be guessed from internet photo's.
Those familiar with Germany will know this one as apparently it is famous.

Printed in red with the undercoat and some of the first coat on.

Last two with more done and more finishing / touching up to do.

I'm starting Tamiya's 1/48 Brewster Buffalo. The kit comes with a choice of the B 339, F2A-2, but I plan on using artistic license to paint and mark as a Marine F2A-3 at Midway.

Does anyone use an old school engine point file in their model making kit? I have the same file I borrowed from my Dad's tool box in the 70's. Still about $3.00 US and last a lifetime on plastic.
