Shifted back to B5N2s and D3A1s to add some details. I did a test fit on the deck. I think I might have maybe one to two many aircraft, which isn't a big deal.

Here's a prewar drawing of the Hiryu. Yes, there are some bi-planes on the deck but it give you an idea of the layout
I'll go through my books and see if I can find one closer to Pearl Harbour

Excellent. Reading about the Kaga was interesting as well. I was thinking of having the aircraft from the first strike, which included one B5N2 from Akagi, two A6M2bs from Kaga, and the rest are going to be Hiryus aircraft after the other three were set ablaze. The numbers above come the report of what was available.

I must say that I'm enjoying these old Airfix and Italeri kits, even if in some parts of the build they make you
