Azure blue is very dark. I think many desert and Maltese photos of airplanes on the ground had an apparent lighter hue because of the reflection of bright sunlight on the sand. There were also, I think, some RAF aircraft that were painted with sky type S or duck egg blue in those theaters. The paint has been laid down and with some trepidation as to the scheme? The ASK decals showed what looked correct until you got to the R/side of the plane and then all of a suddenly the canopy went D.Earth and the camo did not line up with the L/side at all so I add hock.I think it came out looking pretty good thus far tons of shades for Azure blue go look went the darker it's what ASK showed? The livery will be S.African with the Gazelle up front L/side.I still have some PE on the tail and inside the canopy to do last things for sure.![]()

I'm still waiting for the 1/350 scale USS Enterprise NCC-1701.I have 2 ships, one started and one just arrived today. The first is a "starship", 1/1200 AMT Enterprise D. The saucer and hull are assembled and primed. The second is a WWII destroyer, Trumpeter 1/350 to be used to build the USS Johnston.

You have one on order? How big is a TOS Enterprise in 1/350? I attempted one about 1969, I think it was 1/650th? I remember something like 18 inches overall? Never finished it, it was a nightmare just to attempt it and I was just in my teens.I'm still waiting for the 1/350 scale USS Enterprise NCC-1701.

Sorry, no. It was meant as a joke. It would be prohibitively huge. You have one on order? How big is a TOS Enterprise in 1/350? I attempted one about 1969, I think it was 1/650th?
