Wow I never thought I would see the day that Argentina gets beat 6-1! I hope you guys can get back on your feet.

Germany beat Wales 2-0, but it was a very lackluster and poor game. Ballack scored Germany's only goal in the 11. minute, and then later a Wales player (can not remember his name) made and own goal to make it 2-0.

I never thought either, unfortunately it happen, large part of it is related with that devils stadium made at 3600 m ( 12,000 feet) in altitude.

The bolivian pickles has been extremely hard to digest. :cwm21:

Watching the U21 European Championships right now. Germany vs. England. Germany is winning 2-0 right after half time right now. So far Germany has pretty much dominated and controlled the game. See how the next half goes...

Well Germany is the U21 European Champions after beating England 4-0 in the final. Germany has a lot of young talent, I just hope that the coach of the regular National Team can exploit this.

This got me thinking though at who has won what tournament (only majors, not U20 and under, or minor tournaments), so I sort of figured it out: Winner(2nd Place)

Alright FC Bayern!!!!

FC Bayern Munich defeated Manchester United in the first game of the Champions League Quarter Finals.

Final score was 2-1 and well deserved for Bayern which was clearly the better team tonight.

That's only the half of it; as a result of that match England's star player Rooney may be out for the World Cup.

Don't know how serious it is, but if he can't play for us we may as well give up now and start planning for 2014.

I don't like to see any player get hurt. The sad part is that he was hurt in the very last seconds of the game. I hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Still happy about Bayerns showing though. They really played a great game against Manchester United.

Does not seem to be too many Football (soccer) fans here any more.

Too bad...

Oh and by the way.

Goodbye Manchester United! FC Bayern Munich lost 3-2 tonight in Old Trafford, but the combined score was 4-4 with Bayern having scored more away goals than Manchster United and therefore FC Bayern is in the Semi-Finals!

Go Bayern!

Yeah both rounds for Bayern have been won by away goals. I think we will have a Barcelona vs. Bayern match in the finals. Going to be a tough one for Bayern. Messi is a damn beast! If they can control him and keep Henry from using his hands they have a chance.

Yeah Bayern is looking very good in the CL right now. Lyon was lucky that Bayern did not win 3:0. Bayern dominated the match, the goals would just not fall.

Barcelona is obviously the favorite and in my opinion the better team. To be honest though, I really hope that Inter wins tonight. I would rather face them in Madrid.
