Here you can see the difference between a little thin Raw Umber placed in each nail hole. Later I will add some watery burnt sienna to some holes to give a rusty effect. It is boring to do but it is worth it in the end.

I am liking the looks of this John.I have a fella down the street who builds model boats from scratch and uses the pencil effect at times on the decking it's just enough without going overboard.So the wings look long what kind of plane?Kevin

It is the Wright Flyer 2 back at Dayton Ohio after the first flight of the Flyer 1.

I will build both ends of the shed now. One end will have to include the door which normally is of a type that swings up. But because this is a box diorama both ends will be closed off. I will simulate the inside to look like a door.
