Not taking away anything from Wayne's work, but I've always had a bit of a gripe with those finishes from Eduard as I don't think they are realistic form a scale standpoint. A straight, flat finish would suit me more

Beautiful work on that cockpit, Wayne! Gonna be a gem. I've got one question, however: did the Japanese really have such a modern looking Attitude Indicator back in WWII? All the vintage ones I've seen in the flesh or in pictures were the old "dash-dot-dash" over a horizon line executed in white against a black background. Even flown behind a few of them. If you're going to do any topsy turvy stuff they can be pretty confusing and easily tumbled. Google Japanese Navy Artificial Horizon Model 2 NASM.
