Thanks for dropping by Gents with the kind words and thoughts, very much appreciated. The engine is mounted and as you can see, most of the detail is covered.

I'm putting this to one side for now and going to make a start on the Spit for GB62.

Back on this big F4U folks and a day doing a swag of painting. Most of this is just to build the central wing section innards and with me doing one wing up and on down (shortage of display space) it's getting complicated.

Thanks Gent's. Another good day of glue sniffing and paint licking. Got a whole swag of little bits done for the wing joints and main undercart.

Top covers on the wings along with a bunch of other stuff to finish the underside and prepare for the main flaps down (work that now cannot bee seen).

Did a test dry fit and am delighted with how snug it houses.

Now I have lots more bits needing a home, there all painted and ready for slotting.

The boss if off to Sydney tomorrow with daughter who is having jaw surgery Tuesday morning, so I'm home alone for three days, dog sitting, with only myself to cook for I'm thinking lots of bacon butties) so I could have time to kill. I visualize lots of modelling deep into the night!
