1/48 Hobby Boss Su-34

[F-104nut]

Well got this bad boy in the mail and could not wait to start it. This beast measures 19 1/2 inches of awesomeness . Not plane on any after market items other then some MRP paints. Mine will be finished in the Sukhoi Yellow Primer . The fit is pretty nice and great cockpit detail . Cool, and interest way they assembled the intakes. Got some of the basic colors painted. Next to do final detail . Stay tuned for more progress

Your project looks very interesting, that bird is huge!
I have a SU-27UB from Kitech (the only kit I have, which is not from WWII). And I must confess that I still do not build an airplane that is later than the 50s.
I will pay close attention to continue inspiring myself and it will be time to pass it to the work table.

Cockpit was completed last night. They did a great job on the instrument panel. Wheels wells installed and drying. this afternoon i will be gluing the upper and lower halves together

Got lots done on the Fullback . Still allot more work to do and sanding . The big tail boom thing was a little pain to attach. Will soon need to figure out weapons and start on them .

Decided to go with this scheme instead of the Sukhoi primer . Spent a few hours mixing back and forth . A few airbrush test . Got my Fullback colors mixed . Bottom light blue color X-15 Sky Blue Mixed with allot of XF-2 white . Top duckegg plant color combination of XF-8 Flat Blue , XF-7 Red and XF-1 Black . Pretty happy with how it turned out

That office is taking shape. The curves and line of this bird augur an interesting process.
At any time you can show us the color scheme ?, the colors of themselves in the Russian fighters are very attractive!

Last few days i spent sanding and assemble of the surface controls. Had small issue with the landing flaps , there are two parts upper and lower. Some reason i threw out the top of the left flap. So to fix it i had to add a fee layers of plastic built up on top. Trailing edge is a little thick but not to worried about it. I also did the same to right side so it would look even. She is really taking form now on how big this plane really is
