Nice fix Vic, looks like the 190 is afflicted with wing fit issues like the Stuka. At least you have made progress - I seem to have stalled with too many other tasks to take my attention away from the bench!
Looking forward to see how this one looks with a coat of paint. Cheers.

Thanks for checking in Gents. More updates with painting and I'm sure I've got the right thread this time.

Have splashed on the underside RLM 76 Lichtblau (SMS PL189). On this build this colour goes up high on the fuselage and the vertical tail.

Have also moved on and applied the first topcoat RLM 75 Grauviolett (SMS188).

With luck tomorrow should see the RLM 74 applied and also the yellow under nose and rudder.

Thanks for the accolade folks.................................So while an estimated 277million folks was watching the coronation, I was splashing paint............................................ I can't lie, I was doing both, viewing time here was from about 6:00pm onward which gave me all day yesterday and all of this wet miserable day today for some paintwork.

I used the Bill method for masking, such a simple and easy way to do it. Paint is RLM 74 Graugrun (SMS PL187).

Then it was down to the close work and a bit of blotching with RLM 74 and 75. Then I followed through with a yellow paint and have just realised that it is too yellow, so back to the drawing board on this one, but I'll show it anyway.
