Haha. Yes indeed. I saw a youtube video of early p-38's over New Guinea and there were some with massive paint chipping and fading. I won't go that far.
A couple of pictures of my latest progress on "The Sad Sack". I have been doing paint touch ups and today I got the landing gear on. the Eduard P-38 tires fit perfectly with the slant of the landing gear. Next up will be some weathering including fitting the turbochargers and exhaust staining.
