Alright I got some dullcote and painted the canopy. I found the canopy to be quite easy.. I painted it with a cheap acrylic without worrying about keeping it in the lines then waited for the paint to dry. After it was dry I scratched it away with a blunt toothpick so the plastic wouldnt be bothered. :D

Good job on the canopy. Thats one goodlooking bird! 8)
 
Looks much better with the canopy frame painted. Always worth the extra effort - if you think of how many hours, plus care and attention, goes into the building of the model, it's well worth doing those last couple of inches properly. Makes all the difference.
 
Oh yes, many hours.. mostly to milliput and filling in the gaps, which i'm sure you guys can see the lumps where the body attached to the wings :D
