Finally started getting paint on the Tamiya F-4B VF-21 . Really love how the Tamiya LP-2 Gloss White sprays thinned with Mr Color Leveling thinner .

Here is a update finally . I used the Ammo Mig Maskng Putty to do the de marcation between the upper and lower colors . Topside has been sprayed with AK Real colors Light Gull Grey. I had couple of areas taht i had to fix. Then i sprayed those areas and the verticals stabs with Mrbase white 1000 whitee. Next to spray the AK rear aft section of the trailing area color and the Tamiya LP Gloss White on the horizontal stabs .

Eduard recently came out with a set of stencils decals for the Tamiya F-14B . I got my set from Spruebrothers. This will be time consuming but worth it in the end

Navy and Marines tend to either paint over, or scrub off a lot of markings.
Probably because the plane captains have better memories than the Air Force guys!?
Just sayin.

Nicely done so far!

Spent the last week making paint repairs. I had lots of area where the light gull grey was not built up. then had some repair to work on a few times on the tasil. Then went and feathered the demarcation between the colors. Now i can move on to the hot section. Also got the sidewinders painted. Now to get the gloss coat on the Sidewinders and Sparrows and decals . Got some two bob missils stencil decals in the mail whicj will help out
