Box art and instructions show it at a angle
It seems it depended on the kind of a gunsight attached. The Mk.VIII one could be fixed just in the way.

Final paint completed. White diamonds masked and airbrushed. Post shade down with Model Master paints. Now time for gloss coat and decals
