Your first image is from an original WW2 vintage color transparency, not a B&W that was colorized. I first recall seeing it printed in a book about the 4th FG, "Escort To Berlin", almost 40 years ago. Yes, I'm old.Yeah man.....nice stuff! Here are a couple more pics you may not have. I'm guessing the first one might be colorized but I believe the last 2 are original color. Source: my computer.

That B PONY is really looking great . I also am working on the same kit. The Tamiya P-51B is my favorite Tamiya kit
