Got these two both built and ready for primer in one week. What can i say i love building Tamiya kits. The Tony is just beautiful and fall together. Not sure of the markings yet on both builds

I really like that pair of cabins and the way to apply those colors, they make them look great. Congratulations Brian for what has been done so far, I'm going for a beer and a snack to wait for what's next.
Cheers from "Mexicalpan de las tunas" ...alias México
Made some major head way on the Tony and Dora today. Tony primed with Alclad black primer and painted with MRP. Silver. Windshield installed on the Dora and painted interior German gray. Still need to figure paint scheme on the Tony and Dora

Looking good so far, Brian. Me gusta esa primera apariencia de la pintura metálica, ...se avecina algo interesante...
I like that first appearance of metallic paint, ... something interesting is coming ...
Finally decided on the markings for the Dora. Small progress tonight On the 1/48 Tamiya Fw190D-9 . I decided to try airbrushing the Tamiya Surface Primer. Mixed it 50/50 Mr color thinner and it went down great . Next to paint RLM blue

Agree with all. One of the problems with living in a small burg is the inability to attain different modelling liquids to try. Many are not allowed to be shipped and what is allowed to be shipped requires a large bank loan to cover postage
I liked the option of thinning the primer with thinner, ... in the case of the Tamiya Surface Primer, I imagine that it is also viable with Lacquer Tamiya?
Made some major head way on the Tony and Dora. Jues a few things left to paint on both then time for gloss coat. I decided to use some paint mask for the Hinomarus for the Tony.

For some reason, can not see the photos in your thread, Brian.
It shows an error when clicking on the link of each photo.
I thought it was my PC, but yes, I can see them on Flickr.
Decided to tone down the Paint and mottling on the dora. Original scheme was to dar. Went back and added white to the brown and green . Happier with the paint redo. Time for painting the wheel wells and gloss coat
