Wow, seems to much like hard work to me

I have made it harder for myself. I meant to glue the wing root butt joint to the fuselage and then add some packing strips of styrene to thicken the leading edge. I forgot how superglue loves to run along a joint 🤬

I need to decide do I leave the wing looking anorexic or try to split the joint. I have plenty of debonder so will soak the leading edge and see if it peels apart.

That went surprisingly easy, I smeared on Loctite debonder gel and left it for a bit. Then I worried at it with a scalpel and it popped open quite quickly.

I have rinsed it with water to get the debonder off just need to let it dry. Then I will warm the resin to try and get some of the kinks out and fill the gap with styrene.

Scalpel slipped and removed a bit more than I wanted. Now putting it back by supergluing a scrap of styrene in place

There we go the kit police will never know when the filler has dried and been painted
