Came across this, when Googling P-38L 44-25413.....

Miss Fluff 'n Lace....



Cockpit displayed at Planes of Fame Museum , Valle AZ....

Turns out this is a fibreglass cockpit, still....makes you wonder if there was a real Miss Fluff 'n Lace with the serial 44-25413?

25411 (8th FS, 49th FG, 5th AF) crashed between Bauang and Santiago, Luzon 3 mi offshore in Lingayen Gulf, Philippine Islands after left engine caught fire Mar 30, 1945. MACR 14234. Pilot killed.

25414 (475th FG, 431st FS) MIA Jun 18, 1945....
