Boeing B-17F-5-BO Fortress, 41-24413 ("Birmingham Blitzkreig") assigned to 92nd BG at Bangor on the 14th of July '42, transferred to 97th BG, 414th BS at Polebrook on the 12th of August '42, transferred to 12th Air Force at Maison Blanche on the 13th of November '42, transferred to Tafaraoui on the 22nd of November '42, transferred to Biskra on the 25th of December '42, MIA on mission to Bizerte, on the 26th of December '42, sustained a direct hit by AAA fire, exploded, 10KIA.
 
Douglas-Tulsa B-24E-1-DT Liberator, 41-28413 crashed into side of canyon wall near Merna, Nebraska on the 29th of April '44 while on flight from Chicago to Denver. All 10 onboard killed.
 
Consolidated B-24H-15-CF Liberator, 41-29513 (484th BG) shot down by AAA and crashed in Sankt Margarethe im Burgenland, Austria on the 10th of May '44. 8 KIA 2 POW
 
North American B-25D Mitchell, 41-29713 to NEIAF as N5-133. With 18 sqdn damaged by Zeros and forcelanded at Melville Island, Australia on the 30th of March 30 '43. 1 injured. Wreck was still there in '86.
 
North American B-25D-20 Mitchell, 41-30613 (41st BG, 396th BS) shot down on the 19th of January '44, Marshall Islands, Pacific Ocean. 2 crew KIA, 5 made POW but were executed by the Japanese.

North American B-25B Mitchell, 40-2247 (17th BG, 37th BS, "The Avenger") was Doolittle raider. Was the 13th aircraft launched from USS Hornet, bombed Yokosuka Naval Yard, ran out of fuel, crew bailed out near Poyang Lake North of Nanchang, China on the 18th of April 18 '42.

Edit: It's interesting, how both Accurate Miniatures and Academy, both left out "The Avenger", on the decal sheet....because I can't see it!

Something for that new Airfix 1/48 P-40B....

Curtiss P-40B, 41-5213 w/o on the 24th of April '42 at Kahuku Field, Hawaii.
Question is, if she was at Wheeler Field, that fateful Sunday morning on the 7th of December '41, like many of her sisters, 5211, 5214, 5215, 5216, just to mention a few....

Well, apparently there was 87 Curtiss P-40B's at the Wheeler Airfield that morning, so chances are....
