Lt. Gerhard Busse, 4/ZG-1 (France) Bf 110G-2 Werk # 150113 "S9 + EM", KIA 8th of October, in aerial combat, opposing U.S. bombers during the Münster raids. Both crew KIA.
The bombers were attacking the Brest Süd airfield. The Bf 110 was attacked by Spitfires over the sea, and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean. Busse's R/O was Fw Ludwig Schalk, MIA.
Uffz. Fritz Hahn, 2/NJG-1 (Reich Def), Bf 110E-1 Werk # 4013 "G9 + GK" (lost 03/02/43), KIA with his R/O 3 February, 1943 in his E-1 near Tiel-Amerongen, Netherland, cause unknown. Crewman, Friedrich Foellmer.
