Still no f*cking heat in my shagpad...! Don't have a clue what's going on...

Anyhoo! Is it just me, or do I remember wrong, I'm convinced that I've seen the 1/48 decals for DeHaven's P-38L, or am I barking under the wrong tree here?

Today 70 years ago George Gude met his demise.

February 4th, 1945, 6./301, Fw-190A-9 (Red '13' WKNr. 205938 ) Uffz. George Gude was killed in air combat on the Eastern front.

Beau, the first P-40 is "Duchess of Durham IV" flown by Capt. Ralph G. "Zack" Taylor Jr., ace of the 317FS/325FG "Checkertail Clan". He became as ace in that 'Hawk with 6 kills.
