Hi Guys,

Here is: Yellow 13

BF109 G10 with the Werknummer 611943

Me 109 G 10

"...This BF109 G10 with the Werknummer 611943 was captured by the Americans at the airfield of Neubiberg during the last days of WWII. Together with another G10 and one G14 she was brought to the USA on board of the British carrier HMS Reaper. At Freeman Field the three planes arrived in a status, that was only good enough for a static display.

The Werknummer 611943 was built at the Wiener NeustadtFlugzeugwerke (Austria) in 1944 and saw service with the II./JG 52 at the eastern front. The plane received a ' yellow 13 ' as tactical number. ..."
