After building automotive subjects for the last 16+ years, mostly F1, I decided a change of subject was in order. I have built a couple of Modern fighter subjects, and have now turned my attention to a couple...actually 3 Icon's . I am building the 1/48 Eduard VIII Spit as a member of the 308th, the 1/48 Airfix P-40B done in AVG, and the 1/48 Airfix XIV Spit (undetermined Squadron). The VIII Spit, and P-40 have Eduard detail parts installed, and I have purchased several detail pieces for the XIV Spit. I have started pre-shading. I am waiting on some liquid mask, and the correct (allegedly) paint colors.
