For those who like large-scale jets, Revell have just released a 1/32nd scale Mirage III E/RO/D kit.
Though I have yet to confirm it, I suspect this is the Italeri kit, and UK price is around £43.

First images of the forthcoming Tamiya Spitfire Mk1 in 1/48th scale.
I believe these came from a trade exhibition, and are uncredited, appearing on the Jadlam Toys & Models web-site newsletter, who are accepting advance orders at £31.50 in the UK.
Perhaps a little pricey, but it looks good, and yes, it does have the gun heater outlet ducts beneath the wings.

And don't call him Shirley !
There's something wrong in the cockpit.
The cockpit? What is it?
It's a little room at the front of the plane where the pilot sits, but that's not important right now.

The pilot's ill, we need to get him to a hospital.
What is it Doctor?
A big building full of patients and nurses, but don't worry about that now.
