Had a look at the B-24 on the Airfix site - new tool, very nice interior detail, and currently the only B-24 in 1/72nd, as the others are not currently available.
Not sure about the colours on the prop bosses though - the "F8" code is for the 733rd Bomb Sqn of the 453rd Bomb Group, and the Squadron colour was blue. The yellow prop bosses would denote the 735th BS, code H6.

There is a big difference between those kits and the 60's / 70's stuff from Airfix. The main
appeal for Airfix as a kid was the range in 1/72 and the price.
