Pyro was an odd but interesting company. They seem to have based their selections on what they wanted to do rather than consumer demand. here are some examples of their full sized gun kits. Maybe Atlantis will bring out some of these.

Mattel Toys put out an M-16 copy in the '60s that was a bit too realistic AIUI.
I and my friends had it, the rat a tat tat sounds when you pulled the trigger was cool. Plastic army helmets and uniforms and throwing dirt clauds as hand grenades. We had battle after battle in the fields. Not now, oh no!!!!
