Don. Glad the boy is OK. Biggest fear up here is kneecapping a moose with your vehicle and having it come through the windshield

Don't worry my son got two deer last night with his Hyundai Tucson. Not sure but I think the red nose was put out!

Oh yeah than someone hit him in the back, no worries. Only serious injuries were to Rudolph and his friend

I'll take that as a win.

Indeed, back in Oregon and Idaho where I grew up, Mule deer were the the issue with an elk every now and than. But I've NEVER had it happen! My son has taken out three white tails in three years.

Do you recken that people would get very upset if you hung one in the back window of your pickup?

[SaparotRob]

I love these old rifles!

Didn't Pyro or someone have a flintlock pistol kit in 1:1 scale? Now THAT would get people upset.

[MIflyer]

Pyro was an odd but interesting company. They seem to have based their selections on what they wanted to do rather than consumer demand. here are some examples of their full sized gun kits. Maybe Atlantis will bring out some of these.

Mattel Toys put out an M-16 copy in the '60s that was a bit too realistic AIUI.

[A4K]

Are the details in the Pyro pistols realistic?

[SaparotRob]

I think Pyro released a model of U.S.S. Maine that was essentially a kit bash of their U.S.S. Olympia kit about 60 years ago.

I and my friends had it, the rat a tat tat sounds when you pulled the trigger was cool. Plastic army helmets and uniforms and throwing dirt clauds as hand grenades. We had battle after battle in the fields. Not now, oh no!!!!

I understand that John Wayne carried one for some scenes in the Green Beret movie.
